•THE TRUST LAW of PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC of CHINA will come into force on October 1, 2001. This Law sets forth comprehensive provisions on creation, change and termination of trust, the management of trust assets, the legal relationship between the trustor, trustee and beneficiary. This law has established legal basis for sound development of trust business in China. According to the trust law, enterprises or natural persons can entrust their assets to other enterprises or natural persons with special experience and skills, and get professional service. The trustee should protect and keep independence of the trusted assets. Therefore, the system of trust provides a new choice for asset management.
